Amazingly enough, I have not had any cravings for any of the junk food I so wanted when in Scotland. My MIL has us on such a lean diet, too, that we have actually both lost 5 pounds! :)
It's a perfect 72 degrees here in are garden this beautiful bank holiday weekend in England. I just attempted to make a banana split for DH and myself. But, it was nothing like the Dairy Queen Banana splits I use to make. Have fun enjoying all those American treats we miss so much. But, try to stay cool.
We have moved back to our hometown after spending 2 years in Edinburgh, Scotland. I will now just be sharing our everyday adventures as 'repats' for our friends around the world.
